The OTT should contact Forcados Terminal either directly or via their Agents with its ETA at the following time intervals: (a) 7 days before ETA or upon clearing last port if there is less than 7 days nominal steaming time before estimated arrival. (b) 72 hours before ETA. (c) 48 hours before ETA. (d) 24 hours before ETA. (e) At any other time(s) between the notice as per (b), (c) and (d) where the ETA is to be revised by more than one half hour, with the information copied to the relevant agent. The information should be sent preferably by email to Forcados with all information copied to the vessel’s local agent. (3) With the 72-hour ETA notice, the Forcados Terminal will require certain information from the OTT, either directly or via the agent. Refer to TIB Addendum 1. (4) If not already supplied, International Ship and Port Facilities Security (ISPS) information will also be required with the 72-hour ETA message. This includes ship information (refer to TIB Addendum 2), crew and passenger lists, and a synopsis of the last 10 ports of call, with dates and the level of security at each port. (5) Forcados Terminal Marine Office will pass on ETA for Tankers to the relevant ship’s agent, Lamnalco pilots, and Immigration and Customs Officers. (6) The OTT will contact Forcados Terminal on VHF Ch 8 when in range and pass actual ETA for arrival at a position designated by pilots for a pickup of pilot, hose foremen, agent, surveyor and government officials, as required by Nigerian regulations. (7) The OTT is to call Forcados Radio Room on VHF Channel 08 before proceeding to berth after inward clearance by Government agencies. FORCADOS TERMINAL ARRIVAL REQUIREMENTS The Berthing Master and hose handling foreman will board the vessel usually at theForcados offshore pilot bording position: Latitude 050 10’N, Longitude 0050 05’E. Offshoreline boat will be available to attend to tanker berthing operations and hose connections. Please have ready on arrival at Forcados Terminal: AAA: One (1) synthetic heaving line forward, 100m long and minimum 20mm diameter.Prepare a rope storage drum to receive 30 metres of 30mm light messenger ropeconnected to 100metres of 80mm main messenger.
